Anyone have a suggestion for my dogs skin problems?
I have a 9yr old male shiba inu. He has seen several vets in regards to his problems. Several area’s such as feet, around eyes, stomach and rectum, are irritated and losing hair. He constantly licks and scratches I feel for him but have not received a solution. What is causing this?
Ask your vet for a referral to a Veterinary Dermatologist. Allergies would be the first thing that comes to mind. But there can be other reasons for it. It’s time to get a specialist involved. Specialists have more knowledge than a regular vet.
My mom’s dog had this problem, but she got her this stuff called Dinovite. Her hair is growing back, and she doesn’t itch as much.

try to change the floor cleaner first and consult ur vet for the right brand , here in india vet’s reccomends lizol floor cleaners , and then change the bathing shampoo of ur dog , then the daily diet , calcium plays a main role in this kind of problems . this all to my own knowledge and experience , please send ur dog’s blood to the lab for a clear report . thanking you , hav a nice day

Well it is hard to say without direct visit but, if your vets denied the parasital infection unfortunately i have to say it seems that it is PEMPHIGUS VULGARIS. and you have to use powerfull antiinflamatory medicines to prevent the problem.
