I agree ignoring … I agree ignoring your dog completely is neglecting it, but what i said about ignoring it doesnt mean all the time, but that you ignore a dog while it’s barking and praise it for being quiet, and no the dog wont be sad, yes it will go and curl up maybe even looking sad but it’s thinking. after about a minute you can call it and give it a fuss. barking when someone comes to the house is not always a bad thing, as long as it’s under control when people come in it’s letting you know someones there.
